Ms. Shuey’s first, second, and third grade Title I students at St. Louis Catholic School are working on making their writing descriptive. This season, they practiced by first visualizing and then writing about gingerbread houses they imagined. First the students imagined gingerbread houses. Those gingerbread houses had everything from cotton candy, Kit Kats, and Starbursts to Skittles, Twizzlers, and M&M’s. They even had lollipops, candy canes and gum drops. Then they wrote about them. Look closely! One gingerbread house even features healthy vegetables! Following are their descriptive gingerbread houses:
