Ms. Kite’s 4th and 5th grade Title I reading students at Ephesus Junior Academy made a homonym class book to culminate the study of homonyms as multiple meaning words.
First, these students began by reading Yaks Yak: Animal Word Pairs by Linda Sue Park.
In this story the author uses various animals to show how words have multiple meanings (sometimes a noun and sometimes a verb).
