What are your numbers ? We can use numbers to describe us.
The math students in Mr. Roper’s Title I class at Church Hill Academy know that many things about us can be represented by numbers. This includes our age, grade, shoes size, date of birth and much more.
Mr. Roper had the students’ write 8 things about themselves which can be represented by a number. Then write math problems which would give your your numbers for the answers. There should be a minimum 8 math problems:
- one step equations – two of them,
- two-step equations – two of them,
- order of operations equations – two of them, and
- another two math problems each student could select.
Finally, the students made a poster so other students could figure out their numbers to know them better.
