        NonPublic Educational Services, Inc. (NESI) was founded in 1978 to provide educational services in nonpublic and nontraditional settings across the nation.  The company is incorporated in the state of Virginia, with corporate headquarters in Woodbridge, Virginia.  Currently, NESI and its subsidiary, Richard M. Milburn High School, are providing educational programs in twenty-nine locations within fourteen states and the Republic of Korea, serving nearly 50,000 students annually.

        NESI offers a variety of instruction and support services to service personnel on military installations and to children in private schools.  The exact nature of NESI's work depends on the specific needs of each educational program.  In the recent past, the company has been called on to:

  • deliver reading and math services for nonpublic schools, including NESI Title I Services
  • develop curricula in basic skills for children and adults
  • implement and administer vocational educational programs
  • hire, train, and supervise nearly four-hundred employees in fourteen states
